Over the years this image, Lamentation by Andrea Mantegna, has stuck with me for one reason or another. I guess I noticed a likeness while documenting the first Open Heart Surgery in the new wing.

Wow. I still can’t believe you shot an open heart surgery! I’d love to see the rest of the photos as well. Are they posted anywhere?

That’s amazing Ryan, I wanna see the other photos too! I had a teacher at my junior college who photographed infants getting open heart surgery. I’ll dig around the internet and try to find them. Very sureal.

i’m still jealous that you got to see this surgery and i didn’t, i should have been there… you better get me in next time! great shot, as usual!!!
