Title: Do Something
Description: Make a photograph of someone doing something. I think it is very important to have some sort of action in photographs. Trust me, I love the simple portrait as much as the next guy, but getting some sort of interaction in a photograph can be fun and important. I dont know if we have any still life shooters in here, but if so, make the objects interact with eachother.

Hi Tamar, great shots.
I'm sure in your last pic the girl had her eyes closed or was looking down or am I just going crazy? I kinda liked it, looked like she was annoyed at the guy dicking about :)
I look forward to what this blog will become x
Thanks Katie! Haha yeah she did...I replaced her face after hearing a couple other peoples comments.
Claire I think you did a great job of making an inanimate object do something!
I agree Claire. It looks soo yummy!
Yeah, I think its awesome that Claire is representing some still life action. Good job. Alexa - I want to have taken that photo. Its gorgeous. Blake - really like these - the first one is really a sexy shot - the flash on the skin - Are you familiar with Bruce Conner's book Mabuhay Gardens? I think you'd like it.
I've always wanted to do something like this! Put out an idea and watch as a group of people/photographers interpret the concept each in their own way. It's fascinating.
Carolyn, great color treatment in your photo. I love the lady's hand gesture and the guy in the hat's expression so much that I almost wanna drop everything else out of focus. Did you try any with a shallower depth of field?
Ryan, I love yours! Great composition and great idea.
How did you do this Ryan? Can you tell your secret?! Love this shot.
yeah, i would rather have done it real because i hate doing the compositing but i couldn't find a car that was willing to take a shot in the hood. i just shot it first with him jumping off the bike into an air mattress and then shot the car pulling up to the same spot really fast and slam on the brakes and put them together. i wanna do it again proper if i can find a car to smash into but until then this will have to do.
Well it looks great to me! Is that Eddy's car per chance?
{The last one is terrific}
g.
hah, who's eddie? naw, it's my car, there was the perfect red station wagon there the other day but i saw it just as i was leaving for the airport...
Carolyn, I really love your photo. There is so much going on and to look at but it is so simple and doesn't seem overcrowded. Great job!!
